I consider my approach to PT similar to detective work---what are all the possible contributing sources to your current problem? Where else do we need to look to find the source of the pain and not just a temporary quick fix? The body is incredibly interconnected and I believe it needs a comprehensive approach to treatment. I use custom-designed exercise programs and manual therapy techniques (including soft tissue mobilization, ASTM, manual stretching and joint mobilization) to help you feel your best and keep symptoms at bay for the long run.
I specialize in diagnosing and treating common pregnancy and postpartum orthopedic issues, including SI joint pain, lower back/hip/pelvic pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, and postural pain associated with the amazing adaptations the female body makes to carry and support a growing baby. As an avid runner myself, I also particularly love working with runners and athletes, helping them return to their sport stronger than before.
When I'm not at the clinic, I'm chasing after my three kids, moving my body outdoors as much as possible, or whipping up some healthy meals for friends and family.
