My training in many evidence-based frameworks enables me to use a blended, best-practice treatment approach to help my patients meet their goals. With a background in healthcare research, I enjoy evaluating new treatment approaches from the ever-evolving field of physical therapy and adding them to my toolbox, which helps me tailor treatments to each patient’s needs. My advanced training in Postural Restoration and Applied Functional Science has further broadened my skillset.
My practice philosophy prioritizes functional outcomes and I draw upon principles of pain science and sports medicine in my evaluation and treatment approach. I strongly believe that injuries are a function of the body’s entire kinetic chain, so I utilize a holistic methodology to promote movement and help my patients return to their favorite sports and activities. I strive to make physical therapy an inspiring part of your journey back to health.
I grew up in Petaluma, California, near San Francisco (go Giants!) and the Sonoma and Napa wine country. I love living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and two rambunctious lab mutts. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, golfing and attempting culinary creativity with varying degrees of success.
